This is a nice little noodle shop just south of historic Fry Street near the campus of the University of North Texas. It's counter service, and they'll call you when your order is ready. Take note of the wi-fi login while you're ordering, as it's right in front of you. They've structured their menu so that you just have to follow the bouncing ball: Take your pick of banh mi, noodle bowls, salad bowls, rice bowls, or pho, and then choose your protein, your produce, your sauce, and any extras/appetizers, including crab rangoon and spring rolls. They've done some color coding to help you with popular items, and you can do a half banh mi-half pho combo, or do the "make it a meal" type of thing by adding a drink and chips or cookies. Ask them about their gluten-free options. If you're dining in, they have a self-serve veggie bar for you to pick out a few things to add to your food. They do have a small selection of beer, but soft drinks are self-serve, and they can set you up with cucumber limeade, boba tea, and a few varieties of iced coffee and tea. Enjoy the Mean Green lighting as you enjoy one of Denton's most popular restaurants, open since 2014!
Most of their guests are students, so it's no surprise that you'll find a good number of places along the side walls to plug in your gadgets, with decent-sized tables. There's also a big table down the center of the room, and bar stool seating up front if you'd like to watch traffic go down Hickory Street. If you're long out of school and not on foot, there are a few parking spaces behind the building, and there's even a rear entrance. They have a website here.
