The ~3m tall metal Advertising Column is on Stanmore Road, at the major intersection of Enmore Road, at the 'inner-city' suburb of Sydney, known as Enmore. The 'cylindrical' column has a slight inverse taper to it, so that it has a larger diameter at the top than at the base.
On the top of it appears to be a representation of a hunting setter hound, with a 'cut-out' abdominal section of the dog on the eastern side, that shows a spanner, a five-pointed star, what could a ball-bearing race, and something that is decidedly non-anatomical - maybe a depiction of an air filter!? Though whether the scalloped base that the dog stands poised on, is supposed to be grass, or ripples on water is unclear.
It seems that the larger of the posters on this column were of a political nature, including one for/against the Prime Minister, in regards to then recent major fires across NSW of October 2019!
I had come down to Sydney some 250km to attend a Christian concert at the Enmore Theatre that night [it would be one of Lauren Daigle's last concerts, before countries were to get locked down with many COVID Restrictions], and I took a long walk around the suburb to take various photos of potential Waymarks - including my first attempt at this particular category.
