FR On ne retrouve pas grand chose sur internet de ce personnage, sauf qu'il était médecin.
Sur la plaque, on lit qu'il était historien, sans doute à ses heures perdues ou par passion.

La fontaine, semi-circulaire, en pierre est intégrée dans un demi-cercle plus grand.. Un pilier porte les deux deversoirs en forme de têtes et tout en haut le buste de Jean-Louis Barthélémy, né en 1810 et décédé en 1890.
Une plaque nous indique : A l'Historien, de sa ville natale, ses amis, ses concitoyens
Monument inauguré le 19 décembre 1897. Mr Lafond étant maire.
Plus bas, une autre plaque : La reconstruction de la conduite d'eau des Lignières qui s'est effectuée sous la municipalité Boyer (architecte - Voyer M Ganteaume, Entrepreneurs M.M. Laurent) a été achevée en juin 1923 afin d'en perpetuer le souvenir. Cette plaque a été posée le 14 juillet 1923
EN We do not find much on the internet of this character, except that he was a doctor.
On the plaque, we read that he was a historian, probably in his spare time or out of passion.

The semi-circular stone fountain is integrated into a larger semicircle. A pillar carries the two spillways in the shape of heads and at the top the bust of Jean-Louis Barthélémy, born in 1810 and died in 1890.
A plaque tells us: To the Historian, from his hometown, his friends, his fellow citizens
Monument inaugurated on December 19, 1897. Mr. Lafond being mayor.
Below, another plaque: The reconstruction of the Lignières water pipe which was carried out under the municipality of Boyer (architect - Voyer M Ganteaume, Entrepreneurs M.M. Laurent) was completed in June 1923 in order to perpetuate the memory. This plaque was laid on July 14, 1923
