Drake's Seat is an overlook where Sir Francis Drake was was said to use as a observation point to spot enemy ships of the Spanis. have looked for enemy Spanish ships. This lookout has a panoramic view of beautiful Magens Bay as well as the islands to the north and east where the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea meet.

The roadside stone platform contains a bench with an embedded plaque inscribed:
