I took the Grand daughters out today Geocaching,Benchmark Hunting and Waymarking.
We found one of each.
I am doing the Pea Ridge Civil War,Telegraph Road and Trail of Tears Waymarks.
They all meet at this one point here.
The geocache went fast and we were off and recovered the benchmark and then to the Pea Ridge Civil War site.
We enjoyed the huge Buck and several doe in the park at dusk about 6:30,park closes at 5:00 PM.
The girls were mad that I passed the Buffalo's on the way out,I promised them we would stop on the way back and see them again...and again they really enjoy seeing them.
And we do almost everytime we go by.
This time was different I was getting some photo's across the road at the sign and the girls kept yelling come look come look I just thought it was the buffalo...well it wasn't.........
It was some type of SPIRIT LIGHT dancing around the Buffalo and then disapearing and then reapearing.
Let me tell ya...at first I was shakey and got a few images and then remembered the stories about White Buffalo or white buffalo spirit and then they were gone.
The lady I bought our property from was a Sioux and her parents were one's who escaped from the Trail of Tears and settled just north of here.
So it was just a reminder from the Good Spirit.
Spirituality among Natives Americans and non-Native Americans it has been a strong force for those who believe in the power of the Great Spirit or God. It matters not what you call the Creator. What matters is that you pray to give thanks for your blessings and trust the guidance given to you from the world of Spirit. Many truths about Spirit are told and handed down from one generation to the next.
