For the magic to take hold, a system of large pipes (which the vegetation should gradually cover) was installed and hidden along the rock walls. In the basin (around 500 m3), an efficient hydraulic and pumping system sends water to the three weirs, as for a traditional fountain. It’s an electronic machine, hidden in a station at the entrance to the park, that plays the conductors. From there is also activated the misting function on the pond.
The cascade operates in a closed circuit. The water falls back into a perfectly watertight basin so there is no loss, except that linked to evaporation. It is extinct in the evening, but is pushed fully at the weekend for the many walkers.
