Located within the Broward County Parks and Recreation division is the 157 acre Long Key Natural Area. Within this area is the Long Key Nature Center. The nature center consists of an exhibit hall that includes archaeological, historical, and ecology exhibits of the Long Key area. Upon entering the building the first exhibit in the foyer area is a diorama of Long Key before modern day development. Be sure to visit the theater room and watch the movies about Long Key to understand the significance of this nature center and the surrounding property.
