The building started out as the Great Northern train station, stood empty for a few years, opened as a restaurant for a few years, and has been a bicycle shop for years now. Great Northern carries 15 lines of bicycles and a repair shop with four work stations and they offer bike fitting services. In addition to bicycles they have parts, clothing, maps and a lot of accessories.
The shop also organizes weekly group rides and bike tours. In their own words "Experience the world differently by bike! Your Experience:
My bicycle is fine for my needs and the two times I have stopped in here where to gather information for this Waymark. Both times I was greeted when I entered and received a nice send off comment as I left. The staff has always been friendly, happy to answer questions and willing to let me browse as long as I wanted to.
My Mechanic Rating is from talking with one friend who is big into his bikes and he had a good experience there.
