A former Independent / Congregational chapel on Melton Road, Tur Langton.
"The Congregational chapel at the east end of the village was erected in 1846. It is a small red-brick building, re-fronted and extended later in the 19th century. In 1881 Richard Hackney, a former deacon, gave the land and cottage property adjoining the chapel on the south 'for the benefit of the ministers preaching there from time to time'. Soon afterwards the cottages were replaced by a house which was leased by Mrs. Ingram for £10 a year. The chapel and Hackney's gift were vested in the Leicestershire and Rutland Congregational Union in 1930."

It was Congregational and closed before 1957. Ref. - (

It appears to have been converted into a garage.
