More people recognise Tyrannosaurus Rex than any other dinosaur. It is one of the biggest land animals ever known.

We used to think it was a clumsy, lumbering giant. But it was quite siender and agile.

Its huge mouth was filled with dagger-shaped teeth. It used them to tear off chunks of flesh which it swallowed without chewing.
