Municipal Park Pool - Hobart, OK - Public Swimming Pools on Waymarking.com

On the west side of an unnamed city park, on N. Jefferson Street is a public swimming pool and bathhouse. These items, as well as other things in the park, were constructed by the WPA in 1935.

The pool is surrounded by a chain link fence and had not yet been filled for the summer season at the time of our visit. This is a concrete pool with a simple diving board at the deep end. No other climbing or pool facilities were noted. The pool is well used in the heat of an Oklahoma summer.

In speaking with the City offices, there is some variation in the pool dates. They usually open right after Memorial Day. The Individual price was raised the summer of 2019 to $4 but they believe it will be lowered again to $3. A season pass for one person is $80, or $75 per person for a family.
