This chapel is located in the north of the old town east of the new fortress. It stands between two narrow side roads that have a lot of touristic shops today.

I could not find much about this chapel. The outside seems to have received some fresh paint recently and the inside is full of pictures, icons, statues.

The church is not listed on any map or website I fould.

The plaque above the entrance says (in Latin letters): "Naos Y.Th. Ypsilis kai I. Eleimonos Syndromi Eusevon Euprepisthi"

The most(!) meaningful(?) online translation I could get was: "church high and I. eliminative assistance, objective miscellaneous" Really? Now I am lost, but there is a Saint called Ioannis Eleimonos, Patriarch of Alexandria in the early 7th century. Mabe this church is dedicated to him (and another Saint I could not identify).
