At the 'Marine-Ehrenmal' (Naval Memorial) in Laboe, Germany, Schleswig-Holstein is the big ship screw of the 'Prinz_Eugen' on a permanent display.
The big ship 'Prinz-Eugen' was destroyed after two nuclear bomb tests at the Bikini Atoll in 1946. In 1977 one of the two propellers was salveged and in 1979 put on public display at the 'Marine-Ehrenmal'.
The diameter of the ship screw is 4.04 meters and its weight is 11 tons.
