A jackalope is a mythical animal described as a jackrabbit with antelope horns. There are three of these creatures perched on various items in the mural.

The mural has a red sunset sky background. Bats are flying in the upper left corner. A series of hills below the sunset with a large cactus plant, an armadillo, and some blue bonnets across the bottom.

On the left sitting on the electric meter is a small jackalope. Another small jackalope is perched on the frame of the door. In the center is a standing jackalope with front feet on one window frame and back feet on the other window frame.
