Budova s vežickou byla postavena na míste nekdejšího Pittlerova špitálu. Sloužila moravskoslezské mestské sporitelne v letech 1900 - 1930. Dum byl pozdeji zbourán a vyrostla zde roku 1929 funkcionalistická stavba obchodního domu ASO.
The building with the tower was built on the site of the former Pittler Hospital. It served the Moravian-Silesian municipal savings bank in the years 1900 - 1930. The house was later demolished and a functionalist building of the ASO department store was built here in 1929.
