WWI memorial cross in St Leonard's churchyard, Thorpe Langton, consisting of a single-stepped square base with a square sectioned tapering plinth & rectangular sectioned Clipsham stone wheel cross. The wheel has a knot design with sword in relief. A granite tablet was added to the base in 2010 (
visit link) , as the original incised inscription on the plinth is barely legible.
The memorial was unveiled on Sunday 30th January 1921 by Mr HT Mills JP; dedicated by Rev Canon TF Jerwood, Rector of Little Bowden.
