(EN) This fountain located below the church of St Nicolas du Pelem dates from the 17th century.
"According to the legend St-Nicolas, having settled in an inn to eat there, discovered in a salting bowl, the remains of three children whom the innkeeper had murdered and whom the Saint resuscitated. This is why Saint-Nicolas is most often represented, in a niche, with its three proteges at its feet coming out of a barrel A Christ on the cross which originally appeared above the second basin is currently sealed in a nearby wall.
