This historic places map delineates the locations of Explorations, early trails, Army Forts, monuments, Historic Points, Indian Churches, Indian Villages, Indian Burial Mounds, Fur Posts, and early fur trading and pioneering Camps, Towns, Lakes, and Highways, within a 35 mile radius of present day Sisseton. This plague is erected adjacent to the Nicollet Tower, a scenic lookout tower west of Sisseton, SD.
