"Le menhir du Fort La Latte, appelé régulièrement le menhir de Gargantua, est une pierre montée en granite comme une obélisque très fin. ( 2,64 m de hauteur pour 0,49 m de largeur et 0,24 m d'épaisseur)
Il était surmonté autrefois d'une croix.
C'est vraisemblablement lors de cette christianisation que le menhir originel a été retaillé aussi finement.
?Il se trouve dans le parc du château, sur le chemin privée menant au Fort La Latte.
?Il fut cassé en deux durant le tournage des "vikings". On peut encore y voir la trace sur le menhir.
Il porta de nombreux noms, l'aiguille de guerrier (sur les plus anciennes cartes), le menhir du Fort La Latte, le doigt de Gargantua, la dent, et bien plus encore..." (
