EN: This fountain is located near an intersection of two dirt roads in the agricultural area east of Möhlin.
The trough is a hollowed out and roughly hewn sandstone block of around 80 centimeters in diameter.
The only reason for a fountain in this relatively remote location seems to be that there is a socket for the drinking water supply directly below it, as indicated by the access hatch behind the fountain and the drinking water sign.
DE: Dieser Brunnen steht in der Nähe einer Kreuzung zweier Feldwege im Landwirtschaftsgebiet östlich von Möhlin.
Der Trog ist ein ausgehöhlter und aussen roh behauener Sandsteinblock von rund 80 Zentimeter Durchmesser.
Der einzige Grund für einen Brunnen an diesem relativ abgelegenen Ort scheint zu sein, dass sich direkt darunter eine Fassung für die Trinkwasserversorgung des Ortes befindet, worauf die Einstiegsluke hinter dem Brunnen und das Trinkwasser-Schild hindeuten.
