Part of this church already existed in the 18th century, it forms the apse. This part, as we can see on the spot, is remarkable for its construction. The base of the building is narrower than the top. The masonry is reinforced by external columns, the top of which is decorated with grinning heads.
In the 18th century, the parish priests had to declare the goods of their cure to satisfy the General Assembly of the Clergy of France of 12 Dec 1726. "

"Joseph (from Hebrew ??????: Yosseph =" He will add ", according to popular etymology) is an important figure in the Hebrew Bible and the Koran. He links the chronicle of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in Canaan to the later story of the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt.
The Book of Genesis says that Joseph is one of the twelve sons of Jacob and the first of the two sons (with Benjamin) of Rachel. He was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers, but became the most powerful man in Egypt alongside Pharaoh. When famine strikes the earth, he brings the children of Israel to Egypt, where they settle in the country of Goshen. He is the father of Ephraim and Manasseh, whose descendants will give two of the 12 tribes of Israel, those of Ephraim and Manasseh. "
