Water enters the pool from two large vents, approximately 10'-12' below the water surface. Closer to the pool edges the depth is 4-5'. Concrete stair allow easy access and egress from the pool.
There is a cost of $5.50 per person to enter the Juniper Springs Recreational Area, which provides access to the spring pool and adjacent swimming area. A concession store is present as are change rooms with showers. Diving or jumping into the pool is not permitted. The pool and day-use area is open from 8am to 8pm daily (to 5pm in winter).
