The Sundial was placed in a northern corner of Hyde Park near the centre of Sydney. Unfortunately the gnomon is missing (at least in 2020 - when I was in the Park for a geocaching event.) A bronze disc is set into the top of the six-sided sandstone mushroom shaped base. On the sides is engraved: THOU DOST TIME; and on another side is the year - 1913. It has weathered quite a bit in a century, and that date is getting a bit hard to see.
