EN: This wooden cross stands at the junction of two forest paths in the valley of the Mundbach north of Mund.
It is a simple wooden cross with a small metal figure and a gable. On the side arms it is written: "Lord protect this Alpine valley".
The wood still looks relatively fresh, the concrete foundation is probably older. So I guess the cross was recently replaced.
DE: Dieses Holzkreuz steht an der Verzweigung zweier Waldwege im Tal des Mundbachs nördlich von Mund.
Es ist ein einfaches Holzkreuz mit einer kleinen Metallfigur und einem Giebel. Über die Seitenarme steht geschrieben: "Herr beschütze dieses Alpental".
Das Holz sieht noch relativ frisch aus, das Betonfundament ist vermutlich älter. Wahrscheinlich wurde das Kreuz kürzlich ersetzt.
