The White Horse Hotel is a two storeyed brick building that was erected in several phases with major alterations c1912, including a new facade. Originally there was a verandah overlooking Ruthven Street which has been removed and an awning put in it's place.
The facade has a rich tracery of white cement render over the brickwork. The central paired windows are surmounted by a curved pediment with the words "White Horse 1912" inscribed upon it.
