This museum is located to the immediate east of the Hue Imperial City, on the north side of the Perfume River. There are several other historical and cultural sites adjacent. Unfortunately, I visited during the Tet holiday when the Museum was closed.
The museum consists of tanks, weapons, and planes displayed in the courtyard at the main entrance, and three buildings that house the photographs and artefacts. These display the resistance efforts against the French and the Americans (The Vietnam/American War).
Opening hours: Tuesday-Sunday: 07.30–11.00 13.30–17.00.
Open all year: Except for some holidays
