EN: This fountain is located in Oberdorfgasse in Glis on the roadside. It has two troughs on different levels and a fairly simple concrete column.
Two small stone slabs with inscriptions are attached to the trough sides. The lower one says "1899 J. Mutti Sion", the upper one says "G I S 1929". The troughs hardly date from this time. I assume that the two plates were taken over from a previous fountain.
DE: Dieser Brunnen steht in der Oberdorfgasse in Glis am Strassenrand. Er hat zwei Tröge auf verschiedenen Ebenen und eine ziemlich einfache Betonsäule.
An den Seiten sind zwei kleine Steinplatten mit Inschriften angebracht. Die untere besagt "1899 J. Mutti Sion", aud der oberen steht "G I S 1929". Die Tröge stammen wohl kaumm aus dieser Zeit. Ich nahme an, das die beiden Platten von einem Vorgängerbrunnen übernommen worden sind.
