The bench is located on the village green near to the war memorial in the village of Barlaston.
The black steel bench has a silhouette design on the back that incorporates the images of four soldiers holding rifles, barbed wire, and poppies that are painted red.
The plaque situated on the back of the bench is inscribed as follows:-
'1914 - 1918
Erected by Barlaston Parish Council
in recognition of all the villagers who
were impacted by the events of the
Great War'
