A côté de la Fontaine neuve, construite en 1827, un bassin de décantation stocke l’eau qui alimente le lavoir qui devait être vidé et «rerempli» pour le rinçage.
Huit postes de travail, plus deux en contre-bas dans le bassin : les lavandières pouvaient rester debout à la hauteur des planches. La charpente est « sophistiquée », avec un poteau central en bois. Une pierre centrale ronde sert de support à un poteau carré. Tenons et mortaises.
Deux fermes intermédiaires pour répartir la charge. Toit à deux pentes, tuiles romanes.
La lavoir est alimentée par la source de la Fontaine Neuve.

Next to the new Fountain, built in 1827, a settling tank stores the water which feeds the wash house which had to be emptied and "refilled" for rinsing.
Eight workstations, plus two below in the basin: the washerwomen could remain standing at the height of the planks. The frame is "sophisticated", with a central wooden post. A round central stone supports a square post. Tenons and mortises.
Two intermediate trusses to distribute the load. Roof with two slopes, Roman tiles.
The washhouse is supplied by the source of the Fontaine Neuve.
