Bridgehunter simply calls this one a "pony truss bridge", and it has the following vitals:

Length of largest span: 78.1 ft.
Total length: 79.1 ft.
Deck width: 10.8 ft.

The stage was named for Jerry Wayne Hazelip, who served on the Kemp City Council for two years, and who was helping the city as a favor by finishing another member's uncompleted term when he passed on of a heart attack in 2014. The stage's development was one of the last projects on which he worked: So beloved was he that there were plans to name the stage for him while he was still alive. He had also served on the boards of directors of the Kemp Economic Development Corp., the Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake and the Celebration on the Lake Church, oftentimes taking leadership roles, and a memorial to him stands in front of the stage.

It's better than destruction, but one side of the bridge was mostly removed in order to create an open side for use as a stage. A roof was also added, and one can hope that they re-used some of the truss section that was removed. A mural of guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan was completed here in 2018, and conservation efforts were made to establish a watershed.

As this is a park, one can park their vehicle anywhere there is a curb.
