The mural actually takes up only a small section of the building, with Stevie Ray Vaughan playing his guitar -- bending the strings and using the whammy bar -- with the flag of Texas as a background. The neck of the guitar extends out onto unpainted brick, and at the center of the building is a nod to one of his hits, "Pride & Joy" in black letters.
Of course, the flag of Texas has a white star on a blue background, with red and white stripes. The mural otherwise is dominated by red, black, white, and tan/cream colors. Stevie is wearing a tank top with "Charley's Guitar Shop" in black and white letters, and his hat has a hatband with a red brooch. The author's signature, "B. Samford 2018", is in white letters in the lower left corner.
