"This is the third church the village has known. The first was destroyed in 1544 by the troops of Henry II, then a second was erected after the Hundred Years War in the center of the cemetery.

After more than two centuries, the second church being in a state of extreme dilapidation, the municipality decided to build the current Saint-Martin church, which was opened for worship in 1873.

Its bell, put into service the same year, is called Louise Adélaïde Alix Charlotte Marie Sophie Élise.

The rooster above the bell tower was replaced in 1970, it had served as a training target for German soldiers during the Second World War. "
