The address on the GPS unit might be looking for 6108 Edloe Street, West University Place, TX 77005 instead of Houston, TX 77005. West University Place is a small incorporated city within the greater Houston metropolitan area.

This community book exchange is an incredibly detailed construction designed to look like the actual front of the West University Scout House building where the Girl Scout Troop 25216 meet. The book exchange unit is on the porch of the building after which it was designed. The book unit and the Scout House seem to be a community function located on part of the extended property of West University Elementary School, which is located behind the Scout House and the recreation fields adjacent to the Scout House. However, public access is available to the Little Free Library from the sidewalk going from Edloe Street up to the front of the Scout House.

There is a plaque on the side of the Little Free Library stating this community book exchange was done as a "Girl Scout Silver Award Project by Eliza Holt and Nora McQueary of Troop 25216 and completed in September 2016." The same plaque gives "Special Thanks to David Crow and Stonehenge Classic Homes."

The design of the library box is a large house-shaped unit designed as a miniature replication of the actual Scout House used by Troop 25216. Inside the little library is a long shelf that divides the library into a lower section for regular sized book in the "house" section, and then the upper part is the "attic" section where other books can be stored as well.

The concept of the Little Free Library is for people within a community to stop by the unit and examine the selection of books at that time. If you see a book you'd like to read, feel free to take it out and take it with you. If you have books at home that you have already read, you are encouraged to take these books to a Little Free Library and donate them into any little library's book selection. This concept is summarized as: Take A Book: Return a Book. Feel free to take a book you want to read, and feel free to return a book or add a book to this exchange unit, or any others you know of. Your contribution of books keeps the sections varied and keeps the little libraries filled with books for others. Its is a win-win situation.

There is not geocache in or on this Little Free Library unit. However, a geocache is located 0.1 mile away along University Blvd.
