The Turner Memorial School on Church Road, North Ferriby, was built in 1877, and is one of many gifts by Mrs Turner in memory of her late husband, Charles Turner, Esq., M.P. for Liverpool, and replaced the old Endowed School. It accommodated about 120 pupils, and adjoining it was a house for the teacher. It is now converted to private dwellings, one end the 'Pupils end', the other the 'Master's End'. The date stone on the front of the building reads:
