The squat cylindrical concrete reservoir is on the highest part of the spur running east of the Four Mile Hill Rest Area. It stands about 5 metres high, and must be more than 10 metres in diameter. There is an external staircase on the western side. That section is behind a 2 metre high cyclone mesh fence.
It stands at a minor junction of Jack Wards Road (dirt and gravel), and dirt trail heading steeply downhill to the north. In early November a major fire went through right here, and destroyed much property - though not much in the way of houses.

[I had come out to this area to locate a Geodash point about 440m to north, and a little west of the steep dirt trail.]
