"During the French Revolution, this chapel became the parish church of the commune. The nave was later built.
The church was built in stone in the 16th century, the choir higher than the nave is in flamboyant Gothic style. The three-span nave ends with a very simple stone facade for the lower part, and brick for the upper part. It is surmounted by a bell tower covered with slate.
The church preserves several works of art among which: a sculpted group of the Virgin of Mercy in polychrome wood, from the 16th century, it was restored in 2003 by Atelier Le Sciapode; a statue of Christ on the cross from a beam of glory from the 16th century, a wooden statue of Saint Catherine from the 17th century, a statue of Saint Margaret of Antioch, in painted wood from the 16th-17th century, a statue of Saint Jean-Baptiste, in polychrome wood from the 16th-17th century, a painted wooden statue of Saint Eloi from the 17th century. " À la Révolution française, cette chapelle devint l'église paroissiale de la commune. La nef fut construite par la suite.
L'église fut construite en pierre au XVIe siècle, le chœur plus élevé que la nef est de style gothique flamboyant. La nef de trois travées se termine par une façade très sobre en pierre pour la partie basse, en brique pour la partie haute. Elle est surmontée d'un clocher recouvert d'ardoises.
L'église conserve plusieurs œuvres d'art parmi lesquelle : un groupe sculpté de la Vierge de Pitié en bois polychrome, du XVIe siècle, il a été restauré en 2003 par l'Atelier Le Sciapode; une statue de Christ en croix provenant d'une poutre de gloire du XVIe siècle, une statue de sainte Catherine en bois du XVIIe siècle, une statue de sainte Marguerite d'Antioche, en bois peint des XVIe-XVIIe siècle, une statue de saint Jean-Baptiste, en bois polychrome des XVIe-XVIIe siècle, une statue de saint Eloi en bois peint du XVIIe siècle.
