The 'Penny' Smasher machine gives you a choice of four Australian native animals to choose from. Being: Cassowary, Kangaroo, Koala, and Wombat. Copper slugs are used, to be pressed through the rollers. When you have turned the crank (#2) to the design selector for the appropriate option, inserted your $2 coin and turned that knob a full turn, then you turn the crank handle a full turn clockwise to stamp the copper slug.
On the side of the machine is a slot where you can punch a hole through your selection. The machine is largely a rectangular prism of Perspex, but with metal knobs to process the stamping of the blank, with clear instructions on how to get your own 'stamped penny'
