This gray metal marker is embedded in a concrete collar at the entrance gate to the park. The park is located in the Dendora Valley, approximately 20 miles NW of Gila Bend. The marker is stamped:
U.S. Geological Survey Benchmark, For Information Write the Director Washington D.C. 1948. Cooperation with the State, Elevation above Sea 585 Feet. 80 GWM. It is located approximately 5 feet west of the western edge of the gate and six feet south of the southern edge of Rocky Point Road.
