EN: This sundial is mounted at the south face of the Cappella Mellerio, an 19th century building in the heart of Domodossola, built by the Count of Mellerio as the first grammar school in town.
The sundial is in the center of the right sidebuilding and consist of a rectangular plate with Roman numerals. The painted signs of zodiac start at the top with a Capricorn and go clock-wise around the dial plate.
IT: Questa meridiana è montata sulla parete sud della Cappella Mellerio, un edificio del XIX secolo nel cuore di Domodossola, costruito dal Conte di Mellerio come prima scuola di grammatica in città.
La meridiana si trova al centro della costruzione laterale destra ed è costituita da una piastra rettangolare con numeri romani. I segni dello zodiaco iniziano in alto con un Capricorno e girano in senso orario attorno al quadrante.
