The Lin Hung (various spellings) Pagoda is on the Marble Mountain, just south of the central Vietnamese City of Da Nang. The Pagoda is a cluster of buildings both above and below ground (in the mountain caves) and caters to both Buddhist and Hindu traditions.
This is one such Buddhist temple. Inside is a small Buddha statue. Flanking the entrance are these two lions. Both about a metre high, both proud and rather fierce. They look similar, but one holds a globe the other a baby lion. So, father and mother?
Entrance to the Pagoda and Mountain are free. It is a popular tourist spot.
