Miraflora Park was listed on the NRHP in 2006. Dr. Aureliano Urrutia was one of many Mexican citizens that left Mexico during the revolution of 1910. He was a
successful surgeon in Mexico, where he had built a large clinic, and had many followers, both patients and students. A
portion of his garden, Miraflores, is a tangible reminder of this man who became an outstanding citizen and member of
the medical community in San Antonio."
