In 2015 a memorial plaque 'to Bathley, Little Carlton, North Muskham and South Muskham men lost to The Great War 1914-18' was placed at the east end of the north aisle. It is one of eight that have been donated to parish councils, churches and schools by local historian Trevor Frecknall in a project with Bathley History Society. Research for a book on Newark during World War I revealed that 14 names had been omitted from war memorials in Bathley, Little Carlton, North Muskham and South Muskham so new plaques including the names of all 29 people from the villages who died in the conflict were made."
