The shortish pieces of rusty steel pipe range from 10cm diameter to 40cm diameter, with quite a few of the smaller pipes having a collection of sticks placed in the. The pipes are placed in an arc of the semi-circular 'lookout' over the wetland. A printed sign on a sandstone block has the following information on the display:
POLLINATOR INSECT
FEATURE
"Pollinators are insects that move pollen among flowers, which helps form seeds and fruits.
"Native bees, butterflies, wasps, flies and beetles are all important pollinators. They keep plants growing and green spaces healthy.
"These creatures prefer habitats with small holes and crevices that provide shelter and hiding places. Habitats can be created with mud, bricks, pipes, twigs and logs.
"We're placing some of these features in our pollinator insect feature and will monitor them to make sure that it stays healthy."
