The Chess, or Checker board is almost 3 metres square, slightly elevated from a bitumen court that has a huge mosaic 'lounge' and free electric BBQs. There didn't seem to be any place where checker tokens or Chess pieces would be stored close by - so they be just brought out on weekends by Council volunteers.
