Flora, in Latin Flora, was Roman, originally Sabine, goddess of flowers and spring. Her feast of Floralia took place on 28th April. Famous paintings in which Flora appears include Botticelli's Primavera, Titian's Flora or Rembrandt's Flora.

The path in the park is terminated by an iron gate, on whose side 3 m high pillars stand robust sculptures of Pomona and Flora carved from sandstone, each of the goddesses depicted with their respective attributes. The author is probably Ignác František Platzer and they are from the second half of the 18th century.
