The runoff of Bell Isle Lake becomes the origin of Deep Fork Creek. A series of drainage ditches and man-made dams route the runoff under N Classen Blvd and then release it into Deep Fork Creek.
I wish I could tell you that you'll have a refreshing walk in the woods to get here, but I'd be lying. There is trash all over; old clothes, old tents, shoes, toys, shopping carts. It's a dump down there. Steep sides makes it rough getting to the stream. I suggest going down from the north side of the north bridge, right at N Classen. Still steep and loose soil, but not as overgrown so you can see where to place your feet.
