"Located on land graciously ceded to the town by Marie Juhel, it was built, according to René Couffon, from 1900 to 1902 by the contractor Régain according to the plans and specifications of the diocesan architect Eugène Le Guerrannic.
The new parish church of Lancieux is an eclectic style building with three vessels and a large volume built in granite on a Latin cross plan.
The style, sometimes described as "transitional style" by the master builder, sometimes "13th century style" by René Couffon, combines neo-Romanesque (decor, capitals), Breton neo-Gothic ( bell tower) and the national neo-Gothic (volume, vaulting, rosettes).
The building, whose west elevation is affirmed by a square tower-porch hors-oeuvre with balustrade platform carrying a bell tower capped with a polygonal spire in masonry, includes a nave of five bays accosted by aisles on its entire length, a transept and a choir flanked on each side of a lean-to building, including the one on the right for use as a sacristy.
The covering of the interior space is formed by a vault on crossed ribs. The three-sided bedside table has a stone decorated with the vintage 1900.
The western tower is flanked by a semi-circular circular tower enclosing a spiral staircase in masonry serving the floor of bells.
The gables have creepers with crossettes. The main structure is built of squared granite rubble left exposed, the framing of the bays, the chains of angles, the tower of staircase, the bell tower and the spire in masonry are built in stone of granite in clear tone (large device). "

" Située sur un terrain cédé gracieusement à la commune par Marie Juhel, elle a été construite, selon René Couffon, de 1900 à 1902 par l'entrepreneur Réglain d'après les plans et devis de l'architecte diocésain Eugène Le Guerrannic.
La nouvelle église paroissiale de Lancieux est un édifice orienté de style éclectique à trois vaisseaux et à volumétrie importante construit en granite sur un plan en croix latine.
Le style, qualifié tantôt de " style dit de transition " par le maître-de-l'oeuvre, tantôt de " style XIIIème siècle " par René Couffon, associe le néo-roman (décor, chapiteaux), le néo-gothique breton (clocher) et le néo-gothique national (volume, voûtement, rosaces).
L'édifice, dont l'élévation ouest est affirmée par une tour-porche carrée hors-oeuvre avec plate-forme à balustrade portant un clocher coiffé d'une flèche polygonale en maçonnerie, comprend une nef de cinq travées accostée de bas-côtés sur toute sa longueur, d'un transept et d'un choeur flanqué de chaque côté d'un bâtiment en appentis, dont celui de droite à usage de sacristie.
Le couvrement de l'espace intérieur est formé par une voûte sur croisée d'ogives. Le chevet à trois pans présente à la base une pierre agrémentée du millésime 1900.
La tour occidentale est flanquée d'une tour circulaire demi-hors-oeuvre enfermant un escalier en vis en maçonnerie desservant l'étage de cloches.
Les pignons présentent des rampants à crossettes. Le gros-œuvre est construit en moellons de granite équarris laissés apparents, l'encadrement des baies, les chaînes d'angles, la tour d'escalier, le clocher et la flèche en maçonnerie sont édifiés en pierre de taille de granite à ton clair (grand appareil).
