Hovaka Centennial Park was a Downtown Beautification Project in Hobart in 2000. It is named after a well-known Kiowa Indian, Hovaka. The park is a quarter-block area located on the southwest corner of E. 4th Street and S. Jefferson. This is a greenbelt, with a scattering of trees, and a circle of shrubs at the center. A interesting concrete slab on the lawn has stones set into it which read HOVAKA PARK. There are no facilities in this downtown park area with the exception of a couple of benches, and a war memorial. The park appears to have been somewhat neglected; hopefully, this is just a temporary situation.

A large stone (suspected to be part of the original hotel), stands at the north side of the park and reads:

Hovaka Centennial Park
This park is named for the 70 room Hovaka Hotel,
the "Showplace of Hobart", that occupied this
site from 1912 to 1988. The Paul D. Finefrock family
has generously provided the land for this park.
