This windmill, located on the grounds of the Central Experimental farm, in Ottawa, Ontario, is approximately 30 feet high. The windmill is part of the farm and agricultural equipment museum. As an outside display, it allows visitors to view the windmill and ask whatever questions they may have regarding when this equipment was used and the purpose for which it was used.
It is not necessary to purchase a ticket to view the windmill as it is in plain view on the grounds, however, purchasing a ticket will give you access to the main barns and the animals to be found therein, as well as to other farming equipment.
Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
*Please note the Dairy Barn closes at 4:30 p.m.
