Auf dem Hugenottenplatz wurde am 5. Juni 1997 ein neuer Brunnen installiert. Eine rötlich-braune Granitkugel mit einem Durchmesser von 1,20 m sitzt auf einer bewässerten Mulde.
In den Sommermonaten kann man daher mit wenig Kraftaufwand die Kugel in Bewegung setzen.
Die Kosten des Brunnens beliefen sich auf umgerechnet knapp 36 Tausend Euro.

A new fountain was installed on June 5, 1997 at Huguenot Square. A reddish-brown granite ball with a diameter of 1.20 m sits on an irrigated hollow.
In the summer months, the ball can therefore be set in motion with little effort.
The fountain cost the equivalent of just under 36 thousand euros.
